Taiwan and HK~

Here's my report on the trip to taiwan and hk.. I'm writing it as detailed as possible as i can so.. anything u dun understand jus feel free to ask..

Sat - 15 March

As u can see from the last post, i didn't manage any rest the whole night cuz was busy blogging and erm.. watching soccer from sopcast.. Hahas.. My parents drove me to the airport at ard 7.30.. the check-in time was 8.30 and the boarding was ard 10.30 so we had a little bit of time to spare after checking in.. Went for a light breakfast at the food court at the airport.. My parents went off shortly, leaving me , Jon and his family, they walked us to the gate and went off after we got into the terminal.. Jon and i walked ard, got 2 books from times, i didn't buy any cuz i figure i won't have the time to read thru out this trip, i'm on this trip to do 2 things.. Had fun.. and forget the past.. Which i can say mission accomplished.. =) You'll know later.. =) BOarded the plane and headed to HK for a flight transit.. Slacked an hr in hk before our next flight.. Had BK.. woah.. HK food is exp.. Seriously.. Hmmm.. arrived in taiwan some 6hrs since leaving sg.. Was alr like 8pm there le.. First thing we checked into the hotel then went on to carrefour to meet up Ph and yl's family.. It was quite a short walk from the hotel.. Ph had to get a new luggage cuz her's was damaged during the luggage transit.. Got 1 and went up to the already closing food court for dinner.. After which we walked ard looking for slippers cuz jon forgotten to bring his.. Didn't find any.. Bought a pack or marlboro lights though.. was damn cheap.. =X That pretty much summed up the day.. Oh yeah.. btw.. the tour we'r in came to taiwan earlier.. So they already like met everyone else except me and jon.. but was okay.. still had plenty of time to mingle ard.. The room alocated to us was big.. it has 3 beds.. Weird.. Well.. wad happened next was weirder.. Ph moved in.. LOL.. cuz yl's down with rashes.. so she moved into her parent's room.. At night.. watched a little bit of tv, called my parents.. Called jac.. then bedtime.. =)

Sun - 16 March

Woke up by Jon.. damn early lah.. Was think ard 6am.. Had to pack up and head down for breakfast le.. Cuz its like my first time with tour.. Couldn't get use to the moving ard part.. Had to change hotels everyday.. Went for breakfast at the lobby.. Halfway thru breakfast, i realised i left my hp in the room.. so i hurried up only to find the room door already opened.. So that's practically how i lost my hp on my first day of the trip.. Haix.. =( it was a christmas gift from my uncle eh.. Aiya.. but not goona let it destroy my mood during the trip so... let it pass lor.. First day we went to the fisherman's Wharf (filming site of Meteor garden).. took some photos on the bridge nearby.. was beautiful.. Next we travelled to hualien via train..





Mon - 17 March

Went to The taroka National Park, then to the lingzhi specaility store.. Didn't buy anything there as it is totally off my budjet.. We visited the terrace of the three immortals and caves of eight immortal.. There only sceneries and nothing much practically.. Of cuz, i didn't let my cam rest.. was busy snapping photos.. hahas.. We checked into a hot spring resort in taitung.. Oh yeah. if i'm not wrong.. We sung karaok during the 2hrs plus bus ride.. LOL.. was shocked at how well yl could sing.. then found out she's a regular to k-box.. no wonder.. =X Sang 1 song myself, but was all embarressment.. lol.. Couldn't sing for nuts.. Guess wad.. after we checked in.. We realised that our rooms( jon and i, ph and yl) are connecting rooms.. Cool yeah.. so it looked like a suite.. LOL.. after dinner, rested for abit before going for a dip in the hot spring.. Smart us decided to start from the 40.4 degrees celsius pool.. was so hot that i couldn't even last a full min in there.. so went off to the cooler pool.. was damn shiok lah.. but hot.. lol.. soaked for like about 1 hour plus then went up.. After shower and stuff, the four of us decided to make a trip down to the nearest 7-11 to grab a bite.. all had instant noodles.. Eating out in the cool and chatting was really fun and memoriable.. Hope we can do something like that more often.. But sg's weather.. LOL.. impossible.. Anyway.. we bought vodka and chips back to the hotel, played games drank.. Ph was acting like she's drunk.. LOL.. jumping ard like a mad gal.. We to bed, couldn't slp so chatted with yl till the next morning.. LOL..








Tuesday - 18 March

Travelled from Taitung to Kaoshiung.. Went to the monastery.. Its like a uni for ppl who wans to go into buddisium.. Went to visit the largest lake in kaoshiung, the cheng ching lake.. Lots of mountains and the history of how the terrain was formed was amazing.. everything there is man-made.. Next we went for a hello kitty ferris wheel ride.. Totally hello kitty.. u will know why from the photos.. HAHAS.. then went to the pearl's centre where i got some turtle powder and eye drops.. Went for a river cruise at the Kaoshiung AiHe.. its something like taking a boat ride down clark quay.. Nth much.. fell alsp on board.. LOL.. Next went to the LiuHe night market.. Had all the local xiao chi there.. including my fav lu rou fan.. Whee~ and we tried the mala (spicy) chou tofu.. LOL.. it was alright.. but jus too extra spicy.. =X We shopped ard the town for shoes cuz some of us didn't bring covered shoes for the hike at alishan so the tour guide instructed to get a pair for it.. Nth much really.. went back to the hotel, was exhuasted.. fell aslp straight.. =P








Wed - 19 March

Travelled down from Kaoshiung to alishan forest recreation park.. we had like the longest hike there.. took many pics of the weird tree structures there.. had steamboat for lunch.. Yummi !!! LOL.. next went to Sun Moon lake.. was there during my previous trip to taiwan.. They stopped right outside the hotel i stayed in previously.. Everything look so farmiliar.. hahas.. Well after that went to the honey center where i bought a ash tray with a d**k sticking out for sammy boi.. hahas.. hope u like it.. =P Went back to taichung.. Went to the fengjia night market.. bought a playboy lighter for yl.. Hope u like it gal.. =D Well.. that night.. the rest were too tired out.. so i went out for a stroll to the nearby night market alone.. then decided to drop by one of the pubs to have a drink.. Met this taiwanese chick workin in the pub.. she accomapnied me for an hour after which i had to return to the hotel.. Was like almost drunk when i got back.. didn't have time to rest cuz they are already packing up, getting rdy to leave.. LOL..

Thursday - 20 March

Back to taipai.. was suppose to meet des koh on this day but due to mis-communication.. We didn't meet.. =( Went to visit the national palace museum, then took some photos at the taipei 101 world building.. oh yeah.. we had lunch in the restuarant which looks totally not like a building.. the design and layout of the building was so cool.. so is the inside.. Night out was at shilin night market and ximenting.. omg.. the food was awesomely good at shilin.. And there is so much to shop at ximenting.. =) went back to our hotel.. guess wad.. we stayed in a suite this time round.. was a huge room.. The four of us had macs for supper.. Chatted with yl for abit again.. LOL.. somebody scare of dark sia.. lol.. okay lah.. sleep !!! =D

The next morning.. we went to the airport for our transit flight to Hongkong.. Bid farewell with our beloved tour guide...

21 - 24 March

Hongkong !!! We arrived in hk, splited up with the rest of the tour cuz we are checking into a different hotel as them.. After settling down.. it was almost night already.. had our dinner at a small eatery.. Had noodles.. yl did all the ordering cuz she knows alittle bit of canto.. was really impressed man.. hahas.. we walked the ladies street.. bought like a hang bag for mum.. She really loves it.. and a pair of sneakers for myself.. practically that's our night.. PH fell sick and thus jon had to move over to her room.. Then yl moved in with her parents.. that left me slping in my room alone.. lol.. for both nights.. well.. hmmm.. lonely lor.. =(

The next morning.. ph's condition still haven improve.. We brought her to a clinic, doc prescripted med for her.. She totally couldn't move much so jon stayed in the hotel to acc her the whole day while me, yl and yl's parents went out for shopping.. Hahas.. we went to Prince edward streets.. Yl and i went on this shopping spree where i jus keep buying clothes and bags for my cousins and sister.. She had a fair share of her shopping too.. came empty handed, left with like a luggage of purchases.. hahas.. At night.. we went to this stars of avenue.. the scenery was great.. romantic.. hahas.. took photo with bruce lee as well.. of cuz his jus a statue now.. loved that night.. We then proceed back to ladies street for more shopping.. walked everywhere.. bought HK xiao chi.. was really fun but tiring.. haven walked this much man... Hahas.. hmmm.. that's the end of second day..

Third day was the last day for ph and yl cuz they are returning to sg.. me and chua extended 1 more day.. hahas.. so yeah.. had tim sum in the morning.. shopped ard at mong kok area, as usual, yl and ph went on a shopping spree again.. hahas.. gals.. hmmm.. on the way back to the hotel ran into a street march.. Think its a call against selling of human organs.. wadever man.. lol.. non of my business.. The bus came to the hotel to pick up the ph and company.. waited for them to leave then went on shopping again..

this time jus the both of us.. LOL.. walked ard.. couldn't find anything nice to buy at prince edwards.. so went to the temple night market.. nothing there as well.. in the end went back to ladies street where jon got a belt for his bro.. we didn't have much cash left on us so decided to head back to the hotel.. Grabbed a couple of beers from the 7-11 nearby.. the lady didn't believe i was 18 and above.. And she believed jon was.. OMG.. wad a insult.. she wanted me to show her my id which i didn't have so.. in the end she still reluctently sold us the drink.. i was still annoyed and wanted to jus bring down my passport to prove my age.. LMAO.. was too lazy to do that though.. anyway.. that pretty much sums up the trip to taiwan and hk..

We took a plane back to sg the next day.. jon's family and ph was there to pick him up.. well.. at least i had my mum and sister to pick me.. LOL.. hmmm.. tot u would come though.. but nvm lah.. hahas.. its alright.. well.. taiwan and hk.. the 2 countries i would def wan to visit again soon.. Jus had so much fun.. indeed has been a long time since i smile and laughed and played so hard.. Thnx yl for planning this trip, ph for calling jon to go.. and jon for asking me along.. and of cuz.. my money.. which made this trip possible.. lol.. And last but no least.. Thnx god for keeping us save and sound throughout the trip !!! =D

sleepless

was jus listening to my ipod in bed and this song suddenly woke me up.. The reason by hoobastank... Like wth... Wad is it that life wans from me? Didn't i alr drew the line clear enough ? Its over.. oh my god.. someone kill me pls.. Fcuk.. Less then 7hrs to boarding the plane.. Guess i won't be slping anymore.. Prob take a nap on the plane or something... Prob still suffering from the aftermath of a breakup.. damn.. but how can it be that u gals jus dun feel a thing anymore..

Okay okay enough said.. Let me update abit on the past week.. let's see.. Last sunday night.. Hang out at sam's place.. Was there since 5pm alr.. Ate a free meal at the hawker.. We didn't pay and we walked right pass the counter.. it shows how big our balls are.. hahas.. Well for that its only me and sam lah.. The rest were working at the IT fair.. Ben and chua came over ard 11pm.. Joab, that sob drove over.. HAHAS.. took the car out for a spin.. Idoitically got into a small accident.. Scratched his tire plates.. I haven seen him ever since after that day.. oh by the way.. its not his car.. lol.. Anyway.. went over to jalan kayu for prata at 2am in the morning.. then headed back to sam's for a game of blackjack till ard 9am in the morning.. Was like S$110 down at one point.. Managed to win back ard S$100.. So total loss was only 10 bucks.. Zai rite? Hahas.. Okok.. ben was 90 up, but end the game without winning or losing a single cent.. Tough luck bro.. =/ Hmmm.. that summed up my sunday.. alright was alr a monday.. Went home, slacked ard.. Didn't do much.. went to meet chua and pei hui to settle the tickets shit at chinatown.. Extra 1 day for me and chua in hk.. gonna do some boys shopping and hooking ard.. hahas..jkjk.. ph pls dun kill me.. LOL.. I'm NOT a player so.. yeah.. u ppl who knows me well shld know.. =D

Now, tuesday.. was suppose to work but sammy boy backed out last min.. turned me off.. So i didn't work as well.. Chatted with sean the whole afternoon on the phone, then went to town to meet chua and ph and the fren whose going on the trip as well.. The fren's pretty alright.. hmmm.. had mos burger then headed home.. Wad a lame dinner gathering.. Short and ain't sweet at all.. Wed.. didn't go work as well.. Hmmm.. wad did i do.. i forgot.. fked.. Anyway.. Erm.. thursday.. didn't work either, met up wh after i took my flu injection at his blk, which was jus oppo to mine.. Smoked a little, then went pooling... Left halfway when his frens came.. Met up with Jac.. Some gal i met recently.. Erm.. she's sweet.. And a hello kitty fan.. So think i'm gonna surprise her with a huge soft toy when i get back from my trip.. *Hey.. if u are reading this.. Good luck for ur op and a speedy recovery !!! =D Hmmm.. chatted at her blk then walked her home.. Well.. she's i dunno.. someone really out going and open minded.. Jus the gal i needa know more of... The ones i know now are like not say closed minded but i feel comfortable hanging out with ppl like her.. Went off to look for wh and his frens.. Then went over to this guy leslie's place for texas poker.. Played with real casino chips.. Cool yeah ? HahAS.. All the times they joked about ALL IN which means betting everything they got.. LOL... Was the overall winner i guessed.. i was nvr down at anypoint of the game.. Was jus causally increasing my stacks of chips.. Hahas.. sorry man.. beginner's luck.. was my first time playing though.. =D Erm.. played till 9am when all our results came in thru sms.. Fuck lah.. that's the point when i started losing.. KNNBCCB... anyway.. still won.. LOL.. Walked over to the market and had breakfast.. went home and slept till 6pm.. LOL.. a pig.. yes.. then woke up had dinner.. lol.. then went to meet jon tian to borrow his ipod cable.. Slacked ard at his place then walked home.. Oh man.. my life is boring as dull.. So now here i am bloggin.. Hahas.. gonna pass his cable back to him later at 8am.. THen prob my parents gonna send me to the airport.. Whee~~ going to taiwan le !!! Super excited.. I will miss you all ppl.. Definitely but do enjoy the next 10 days of peace without ryan.. Hahas.. Sorry yeah.. IF i am a nuisence to anyone.. I know.. esp to her i am 1 big asshole.. but wadever.. I love being me.. Love me for who i am.. Alright.. IF NOt... FUCK THE HELL OUT OF MY SIGHT ! =D

Hey ppl.. Third week of holidays le.. Life's really jus like life.. u know.. bumping ard.. gaming... hanging out with ppl and making new frens... Recently jus talked to someone who got dumped.. I mean.. all our stories and tales.. Yes.. sweet memories they can be.. But why do they always can only be jus memeories... why???!!! If u guys even got together.. Why can't the r/s sustain? Why can't it continue.. Why can't it last??? Well, obviously... there has to be one party letting down on the other... But.. after so long together.. Didn't love already developed deep enough? Isn't it strong enough to withstand wadever that is gonna be thrown at it?? Why do the right guys always dun meet the right gals??? Why?? Fcuked up eh.. I'm fking sick of this shit.. Its pointless.. Chapter 1~

Hey peeps.. How's u all ? Hope things are great with u guys out there !!! =)
Anyway.. Jus reached home, was at holland V coffee shop chilling out with Sam and his AIS(Aus International Skol)boys... Before that we were at clarke quay.. China One.. Cool bar, With pool tables, nice atmopshere, hot mature chicks and alcohol.. Hahas.. A nice place to hang around with frens... Was there ard 9.30pm.. Chatted with like about 6 of them.. Had sg slingers(vodka drink) and a tall glass of Hein... Was alr like dizzy and all red.. Hahas.. Yeah.. i can't hold my liqure well.. But i'm still good for the rest of the night.. Wasn't drunk or anything near that.. Hmmm... Next went to this bar next to the taxi line.. Dunno wad's the name but had a little fast chat there while the guys ordered drinks.. In the mean time, had a cheese burger from Macs.. LOL.. my second meal of the day.. Like wtf rite? Hahas.. i woke up at 2pm everyday wad.. obviously skipped breakfast and lunch.. Only had dinner.. Well... most of them wanted to club at MOS.. sam's against it so we went off to holland to meet Dorie.. Another dude.. Ate mee goreng and drank pepsi.. Hahas.. no more alcohol.. Had enough.. Sat and chatted bout their skol days.. Life in boarding skol sounds like so much fun.. Fcuk.. and i nvr had the chance to go to one.. Nvm.. Wait for Uni or NS bah.. Then they talked about all the stupid stuff they do at parties.. How to sabo ppl and stuff.. Their trip to thailand, and Jon and Dorie debated all the time regarding everything.. LOL.. reminds me of sam and joab.. LMAO.. Jon left at about 3.40am.. We continued chatting.. Talked abit about me and my problem.. Had alot of advises from Chris.. He's a knowlegable man.. Indeed.. Hmmm.. Helped me look at things from a diff angel.. Thnx dude.. It's like my second time meeting him only.. First was at sam's bday party.. Cool dude. Doin his NS in a police adca.. Talked about the outram MRT shooting.. Cops took out a murder suspect with one shot.. Damn.. how i wish i was there.. LOL...

Hmmmm.. Was a little guilty.. They taught me something new.. LOL.. and i was sort of wasted for like 1/2 an hr.. Had cold sweats, shivering and feeling dizzy.. but was okay.. hahas.. enjoyed the fun and torture though.. Was worth it.. =X Talked to Chris after sam went off at 5am.. Then took a cab home at 6.. Dun feel tired anymore.. Now its 7.30am.. LOL.. hmmm.. got ushering at church later... Think i'll prob take a quite nap soon.. Zzzzz....


Well.. i dunno how to put it.. but i think.. i think only okay.. i'v met someone really cool and nice.. I dunno wad will happen or u know its jus me thinking too much.. But i'm working on it now.. Will update if things goes well.. =D

Life is short~

Life is short.. The journey of life may seems long.. but its short.. indeed.. i realised this the hard way.. Well its still early for me.. I'm only 19.. Wad can u expect from me.. Immaturity has been tagging along with me for the past 18yrs.. Now at 19, finally setting my sights far.. I'v lost a battle.. Looking at my sister, i could only cover my face in shame and ponder on why i didn't treassure the opportunities presented to me.. Looking at how much fun and enjoyment she is having now.. Looking at desmond, whose currently in taiwan doing attachment in a local Uni.. Looking into the mirror.. I see a loser.. A loser with no itergrity.. No future.. No hope.. No way out of this shity life.. Wasted 19 yrs already.. I can't go on like this forever.. I needa be somebody.. I needa be something.. I needa to sercure a future for myself.. waking up from the "sian tian hou ku" life... It has not only gotten me nowhere.. But also screwed up my life.. Secondary skol screwed up.. Poly, on the verge of repeating history.. Do i wan to see that happen? dO I have the ability to change my fate.. Do i? It all lies with GOD now.. My life is in ur hands.. I wanna be successful.. but staying here in this tiny room , saying wanting to be successful dun get u nowhere.. U got to prove it with actions.. Haix.. Encouraging myself seems jus a excuse to make myself feel better.. Fcuk it.. Alirght.. now's the holidays.. Results will be out in 8 day's time... And i'll be gone in 9.. Hope i can really enjoy my trip this time round.. No bad results to haunt me everynight.. No tots of her to emo myself.. Jus me jon chua.. Sounds gay though.. But his my bestest fren.. I thank god for him.. =) My life has been going up and down.. Its time for one way traffic.. Which way it will be.. Will be my call.. I dun wanna disappoint my parents, my frens and those who hv been out there lending me a helping hand.. Now.. I jus wanna play hard.. studying will come.. when skol restarts in less then 7weeks time.. Bowling is wad i wanna concentrate on.. I wanna bowl my way out of failures.. Bowl for success.. Hopefully i can win something at warrens( the club i bowl for)... This yr.. we started strongly.. Though i haven got a chance to bowl yet.. Was suppose to be bowling the week after next. but going to hk and taiwan means my turn to bowl will have to wait... Its alright.. We got 9 points of out 10 in two fixtures.. That is a awesome result for us.. And the thing is our strong bowlers haven even bowled yet.. Indeed the young ones have surprised us all by storming to the peak of the pack.. Well done guys.. Bowling is my passion.. I love it more then anything else.. Well.. There's someone still i love more then bowling.. bUt it doesn't matter anymore i think.. She's given up on me totally.. It kills to admit that truth but it has happened and its happening rite now.. Well.. I can take it to the chin.. No problem.. Starting of another new chapter follows the ending on one... In this new chapt.. i wish for only satisfaction and happiness.. And of cuz.. Best if i could meet someone who really suits me... Oh yeah.. I jus bought a new bowling ball !!! Prime Zone !!! Costed me about S$330.. And tried it out during training today.. Reaction was strong at the back.. Something i needed for a long time.. Hahahas... The finger holes are abit too tight though.. Injured my fingers... =( Gonna get it changed tml at CSC bukit batok.. Hmmm... Alright !!! Write till here.. Erm.. Rainbows after the rain~

Yes.. its happening.. Another overseas trip... =D this time, its taiwan and hongkong !!! Woo~~~~ Hmmm.. last time round, went to taiwan, fell sick and couldn't really enjoy myself.. Its time to play hard and really spend some time away from this sad place.. Leaving on the 15th march - 24th march.. A span of 10 days to lose myself and enjoy life alone... Not really alone though, there's gonna be jon chua, peihui (jon's gf) and her fren and family.. Hmmmm.. Seen many ppl visited the celebrity wax muesuem in hongkong, definitely will take time to check it out.. Well, looking forward to the third night in Taiwan though, on the itinery it says spa resort !!! Wooo~~~ Spa !!! LOL... how jealous can u be now?? Haaha.. Alright, alright.. wad else, gonna visit shilin night market as well, ximenting, yes.. Hahass.. Oyster mee sua !!! And bubble tea, XXL Chicken curlet !! LOL... And so much more lah.. how i wish, u could be with me on this trip... Now i could only look at jon and ph and regret... Haix.. *xBishx* Wad the fcuk am i saying.. I'm suppose to forget and let loose rite? Nb... Haix.. Somethings prob can't be forgotten so easily.. I wonder how's things with ya... Hmmmm... Hong Kong have the most romantic scenery i heard.. Well, at last will be able to check it out for myself.. K lah.. stop here.. jus finish watching Man utd beat Lyon... LOst on that match though, tot they would do another 3-0.. LOL..
