Taiwan and HK~

Here's my report on the trip to taiwan and hk.. I'm writing it as detailed as possible as i can so.. anything u dun understand jus feel free to ask..

Sat - 15 March

As u can see from the last post, i didn't manage any rest the whole night cuz was busy blogging and erm.. watching soccer from sopcast.. Hahas.. My parents drove me to the airport at ard 7.30.. the check-in time was 8.30 and the boarding was ard 10.30 so we had a little bit of time to spare after checking in.. Went for a light breakfast at the food court at the airport.. My parents went off shortly, leaving me , Jon and his family, they walked us to the gate and went off after we got into the terminal.. Jon and i walked ard, got 2 books from times, i didn't buy any cuz i figure i won't have the time to read thru out this trip, i'm on this trip to do 2 things.. Had fun.. and forget the past.. Which i can say mission accomplished.. =) You'll know later.. =) BOarded the plane and headed to HK for a flight transit.. Slacked an hr in hk before our next flight.. Had BK.. woah.. HK food is exp.. Seriously.. Hmmm.. arrived in taiwan some 6hrs since leaving sg.. Was alr like 8pm there le.. First thing we checked into the hotel then went on to carrefour to meet up Ph and yl's family.. It was quite a short walk from the hotel.. Ph had to get a new luggage cuz her's was damaged during the luggage transit.. Got 1 and went up to the already closing food court for dinner.. After which we walked ard looking for slippers cuz jon forgotten to bring his.. Didn't find any.. Bought a pack or marlboro lights though.. was damn cheap.. =X That pretty much summed up the day.. Oh yeah.. btw.. the tour we'r in came to taiwan earlier.. So they already like met everyone else except me and jon.. but was okay.. still had plenty of time to mingle ard.. The room alocated to us was big.. it has 3 beds.. Weird.. Well.. wad happened next was weirder.. Ph moved in.. LOL.. cuz yl's down with rashes.. so she moved into her parent's room.. At night.. watched a little bit of tv, called my parents.. Called jac.. then bedtime.. =)

Sun - 16 March

Woke up by Jon.. damn early lah.. Was think ard 6am.. Had to pack up and head down for breakfast le.. Cuz its like my first time with tour.. Couldn't get use to the moving ard part.. Had to change hotels everyday.. Went for breakfast at the lobby.. Halfway thru breakfast, i realised i left my hp in the room.. so i hurried up only to find the room door already opened.. So that's practically how i lost my hp on my first day of the trip.. Haix.. =( it was a christmas gift from my uncle eh.. Aiya.. but not goona let it destroy my mood during the trip so... let it pass lor.. First day we went to the fisherman's Wharf (filming site of Meteor garden).. took some photos on the bridge nearby.. was beautiful.. Next we travelled to hualien via train..





Mon - 17 March

Went to The taroka National Park, then to the lingzhi specaility store.. Didn't buy anything there as it is totally off my budjet.. We visited the terrace of the three immortals and caves of eight immortal.. There only sceneries and nothing much practically.. Of cuz, i didn't let my cam rest.. was busy snapping photos.. hahas.. We checked into a hot spring resort in taitung.. Oh yeah. if i'm not wrong.. We sung karaok during the 2hrs plus bus ride.. LOL.. was shocked at how well yl could sing.. then found out she's a regular to k-box.. no wonder.. =X Sang 1 song myself, but was all embarressment.. lol.. Couldn't sing for nuts.. Guess wad.. after we checked in.. We realised that our rooms( jon and i, ph and yl) are connecting rooms.. Cool yeah.. so it looked like a suite.. LOL.. after dinner, rested for abit before going for a dip in the hot spring.. Smart us decided to start from the 40.4 degrees celsius pool.. was so hot that i couldn't even last a full min in there.. so went off to the cooler pool.. was damn shiok lah.. but hot.. lol.. soaked for like about 1 hour plus then went up.. After shower and stuff, the four of us decided to make a trip down to the nearest 7-11 to grab a bite.. all had instant noodles.. Eating out in the cool and chatting was really fun and memoriable.. Hope we can do something like that more often.. But sg's weather.. LOL.. impossible.. Anyway.. we bought vodka and chips back to the hotel, played games drank.. Ph was acting like she's drunk.. LOL.. jumping ard like a mad gal.. We to bed, couldn't slp so chatted with yl till the next morning.. LOL..








Tuesday - 18 March

Travelled from Taitung to Kaoshiung.. Went to the monastery.. Its like a uni for ppl who wans to go into buddisium.. Went to visit the largest lake in kaoshiung, the cheng ching lake.. Lots of mountains and the history of how the terrain was formed was amazing.. everything there is man-made.. Next we went for a hello kitty ferris wheel ride.. Totally hello kitty.. u will know why from the photos.. HAHAS.. then went to the pearl's centre where i got some turtle powder and eye drops.. Went for a river cruise at the Kaoshiung AiHe.. its something like taking a boat ride down clark quay.. Nth much.. fell alsp on board.. LOL.. Next went to the LiuHe night market.. Had all the local xiao chi there.. including my fav lu rou fan.. Whee~ and we tried the mala (spicy) chou tofu.. LOL.. it was alright.. but jus too extra spicy.. =X We shopped ard the town for shoes cuz some of us didn't bring covered shoes for the hike at alishan so the tour guide instructed to get a pair for it.. Nth much really.. went back to the hotel, was exhuasted.. fell aslp straight.. =P








Wed - 19 March

Travelled down from Kaoshiung to alishan forest recreation park.. we had like the longest hike there.. took many pics of the weird tree structures there.. had steamboat for lunch.. Yummi !!! LOL.. next went to Sun Moon lake.. was there during my previous trip to taiwan.. They stopped right outside the hotel i stayed in previously.. Everything look so farmiliar.. hahas.. Well after that went to the honey center where i bought a ash tray with a d**k sticking out for sammy boi.. hahas.. hope u like it.. =P Went back to taichung.. Went to the fengjia night market.. bought a playboy lighter for yl.. Hope u like it gal.. =D Well.. that night.. the rest were too tired out.. so i went out for a stroll to the nearby night market alone.. then decided to drop by one of the pubs to have a drink.. Met this taiwanese chick workin in the pub.. she accomapnied me for an hour after which i had to return to the hotel.. Was like almost drunk when i got back.. didn't have time to rest cuz they are already packing up, getting rdy to leave.. LOL..

Thursday - 20 March

Back to taipai.. was suppose to meet des koh on this day but due to mis-communication.. We didn't meet.. =( Went to visit the national palace museum, then took some photos at the taipei 101 world building.. oh yeah.. we had lunch in the restuarant which looks totally not like a building.. the design and layout of the building was so cool.. so is the inside.. Night out was at shilin night market and ximenting.. omg.. the food was awesomely good at shilin.. And there is so much to shop at ximenting.. =) went back to our hotel.. guess wad.. we stayed in a suite this time round.. was a huge room.. The four of us had macs for supper.. Chatted with yl for abit again.. LOL.. somebody scare of dark sia.. lol.. okay lah.. sleep !!! =D

The next morning.. we went to the airport for our transit flight to Hongkong.. Bid farewell with our beloved tour guide...

21 - 24 March

Hongkong !!! We arrived in hk, splited up with the rest of the tour cuz we are checking into a different hotel as them.. After settling down.. it was almost night already.. had our dinner at a small eatery.. Had noodles.. yl did all the ordering cuz she knows alittle bit of canto.. was really impressed man.. hahas.. we walked the ladies street.. bought like a hang bag for mum.. She really loves it.. and a pair of sneakers for myself.. practically that's our night.. PH fell sick and thus jon had to move over to her room.. Then yl moved in with her parents.. that left me slping in my room alone.. lol.. for both nights.. well.. hmmm.. lonely lor.. =(

The next morning.. ph's condition still haven improve.. We brought her to a clinic, doc prescripted med for her.. She totally couldn't move much so jon stayed in the hotel to acc her the whole day while me, yl and yl's parents went out for shopping.. Hahas.. we went to Prince edward streets.. Yl and i went on this shopping spree where i jus keep buying clothes and bags for my cousins and sister.. She had a fair share of her shopping too.. came empty handed, left with like a luggage of purchases.. hahas.. At night.. we went to this stars of avenue.. the scenery was great.. romantic.. hahas.. took photo with bruce lee as well.. of cuz his jus a statue now.. loved that night.. We then proceed back to ladies street for more shopping.. walked everywhere.. bought HK xiao chi.. was really fun but tiring.. haven walked this much man... Hahas.. hmmm.. that's the end of second day..

Third day was the last day for ph and yl cuz they are returning to sg.. me and chua extended 1 more day.. hahas.. so yeah.. had tim sum in the morning.. shopped ard at mong kok area, as usual, yl and ph went on a shopping spree again.. hahas.. gals.. hmmm.. on the way back to the hotel ran into a street march.. Think its a call against selling of human organs.. wadever man.. lol.. non of my business.. The bus came to the hotel to pick up the ph and company.. waited for them to leave then went on shopping again..

this time jus the both of us.. LOL.. walked ard.. couldn't find anything nice to buy at prince edwards.. so went to the temple night market.. nothing there as well.. in the end went back to ladies street where jon got a belt for his bro.. we didn't have much cash left on us so decided to head back to the hotel.. Grabbed a couple of beers from the 7-11 nearby.. the lady didn't believe i was 18 and above.. And she believed jon was.. OMG.. wad a insult.. she wanted me to show her my id which i didn't have so.. in the end she still reluctently sold us the drink.. i was still annoyed and wanted to jus bring down my passport to prove my age.. LMAO.. was too lazy to do that though.. anyway.. that pretty much sums up the trip to taiwan and hk..

We took a plane back to sg the next day.. jon's family and ph was there to pick him up.. well.. at least i had my mum and sister to pick me.. LOL.. hmmm.. tot u would come though.. but nvm lah.. hahas.. its alright.. well.. taiwan and hk.. the 2 countries i would def wan to visit again soon.. Jus had so much fun.. indeed has been a long time since i smile and laughed and played so hard.. Thnx yl for planning this trip, ph for calling jon to go.. and jon for asking me along.. and of cuz.. my money.. which made this trip possible.. lol.. And last but no least.. Thnx god for keeping us save and sound throughout the trip !!! =D
